    Description

    Lot 9 VTG 70’s Postmarked Postcards Copenhagen Sweden Paris Rome Notre Dame
    Found these postcards among my parent’s things. Both have stamps affixed, written on, shiny, hand stamped & are as follows:
    1. Copenhagen, Denmark- shows “ little Mermaid” a fountain.  Miminal scuffs from age and mailing; looks like some small ink smudges from being next other postcards after being stamped.
    2. Malmo, Sweden- Multi-views of lighthouse, ferry, and rivier views. This seems to be in very good condition with very minimal scuffs on front.
    3. Eiffel Tower at night (Couleurs Et Lumiere De France); Hand stamped; Yvon imprinted on lower left; slight bends on 3 corners.
    4. Arc de Triomphe view at night;
    please note the corners have some slight bends.
    5. Paris-Multi Views
    Stamp is from France
    Front has no scratches, etc., but 3 of the corners are soft with a slight bend. Otherwise in great condition.
    6. Notre Dame Cathedral
    (daytime) (It appears that I mailed it from Austria.)
    Front has no scratches, etc., but lower right corner has a very slight bend from storage. Otherwise in great condition.
    7. Notre Dame Cathedral (night time)
    Stamp is from France
    Front has minimal scratches from storage and there is some slight wear on the corners as shown.
    8. ROME
    Multi view postcard
    shows Spanish Steps, Coliseum, Vatican, & Trevi Fountain. The sender wrote Numbers on each quadrant to comment on the location on the back.
    Writes about attending a mass and seeing the Pope from 10 rows back.
    Written on back;
    3 stamps affixed;
    2 soft corners & 1 creased corner.

    Trevi Fountain, ROME-
    stamped from Cita Del Vaticano.
    Don’t see any surface scratches, but 3 of the corners have a very slight bend at the tip from storage/ mailing.
