Five Vintage European Postcards - Norway, Scotland, France, Wales.Oops! I included a Guatemala card - so selling 6 together.
Passed down in the family.
Unique 1921 Embroidered French Postcard, Anniversarie Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
It measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". The front is hand stitched embroidered flowers, a horseshoe and lettering spelling out "Anniversaire". It is framed in a cream colored border. The Carte Postale back is dated 1 July 1921 and St. Germain-en-Laye and a handwritten greeting from "318".
Old Scottish Postcard - Kilted Soldier - Thinking of Home.
Measures 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Cool unique postcard of Scottish soldier with a rifle/bayonet in front of a tent. He is picturing his elderly parents and a red haired girl by the fire. The front of the card reads: MY AIN FOLK

Each measures 5 3/4" x 4". Commemorating the Kon-Tiki expedition led by Norwegian explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl in 1947, a journey by raft across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands
1933 Welsh Windmill Card.
Measures 3 1/4" x 5 /12". The card is from Jane and John Spiers and says its a picture of a Welsh windmill near their old home.
Guatemala, C.A. Greeting Card
measures 2 3/4" x 5". There is no date. staple holes near top.
The card says Happy New Year from Captain and Mrs. Agustin Donis Kestler. He was a Guatemalan ambassador.
