This listing is for a very nice and large antique gilt brass and beveled glass panel triangular dresser box or jewelry casket. The box measures 5 1/2 inches or 14 cm high and is 9 3/4 inches wide. The brass body has open work designs with scrolling arabesques, foliate devices, and bead work. The cover is hinged at the back with a scrolling handle at the front. There 4 oval glass panels on the sides of the box and a large 8 sided beveled glass mounted on the cover. The box has 4 cabriole style legs with animal paw feet. The gilt patina is all original to the piece. The gilt patina is all original to the piece. There is a golden yellow velvet lining the interior bottom of the box. It is in excellent condition there is no damage of any kind to the glass or brass frame.
