Aiken/NORLIN DC-2102 500-1100 MHz Receiver Downconverter, SR-2155 series Rec'rs

Description

This  receiver downconverter, model DC-2102, was made as a companion piece for the popular Norlin SR-2155 series of UHF receivers, allows coverage above 500 MHz for the receiver. It was made by Aiken Advanced Systems, also known as ACL (AstroComm Labs), NORLIN & Aiken. It uses a high frequency phased locked LO that is locked to the receiver internal standard. and the receiver recognizes its presence and displays the proper frequency as you tune above 500 MHz to 1100 MHz. It is a 1U(1.75 inch high) 19 inch rack panel. Essential item if you own one of the premium 215X type receivers!!  This was tested and found functional in 2001, so I assume it is fine condition with the exception that capacitors do dry out, so if anything, a few electrolytics may need replacing. Because of this I am listing "AS-IS" because I do not want anyone upset.  Quality equipment, well made,  Runs off the receiver, uses a DB-25 interface, 1:1 so simple connector system. Connectors are RF in/out (type N female), Reference in (BNC female), power/control (DB-25).  Have fun!  Any questions, email please.
