This is an Original Transfer Hub #2878 from the Archives Sale of the American Bank Note Co "ABNC". There is the Vignette of the Coupon from a Bond of "Southern California Edison Company".
This Hub was used to transfer the Steel Plate Engraving from the Master to the actual printing plate and would be used multiple times for Checks, Certificates, Notes and other paper printed at the Company. Very difficult to obtain an image from the plate but this is the best I could do. No rust or damage to the Steel Hub, measures 1 3/4" H X 3" D and weighs a lot.
