Description
Terri Lee doll Company (1946-1962) which is noted for their Terri Lee dolls. This 16" tall model doll was produced between 1950 and 1961 (painted body with synthetic hair 1950's?). These dolls had hand painted eyes and lips. Often their expressions were different from artist to artist. This is a hard plastic doll with side-braided styled blonde hair. She is wearing a rare set of metallic gold boot skates that are rarely seen on this model. She has the small indentation on her left cheek (Factory). Her yellow sun suit is vintage but not original to this doll. It has a very attractive "pinked" brown trim around the sleeves, neckline and pant bottoms. There is a repaired tear on the sun suit's front. Her hair ribbons are replacement. She has "Terri Lee" in raised letters just below her hairline on the back of her neck. There are no cracks or damage to the body (see pics). She is a painted body model and there is some discoloration from area to area in skin tone.I am not an authority on dolls so please feel free to
